Truth be told, we don’t put ourselves in for awards nearly as often as we should. *slaps hand in punishment*
Being close to home, the Essex Digital Awards was one of the first on our radar and we were chuffed to receive three nominations for websites we had created in the fashion, hospitality and lifestyle sectors.
Apart from the opportunity to win something and have a great team night out, it gives us a chance to look back over some of the projects we’ve been working on and celebrate a job well done. So, this year we decided to make an effort and enter a few.
We headed to the ceremony at the grand surroundings of Hylands House in Chelmsford to celebrate with our fellow digital designers and industry peers.
On the night, the team scooped a gold award for the Vida Consultancy website, with the judging panel describing it as a ‘…classy and sophisticated site that offered users a great online experience.’ There were also awards for our work on The Ragged Priest and DJP Hospitality websites. All in all, a very successful night for the agency and we certainly had a good time, judging by the photos anyway!
But seriously, it was a great event and our thanks go to everyone at the EDAs for putting on such a good show. We’ll be back next year!
