Working with healthcare charity Brook, we were asked to create a brand new identity for a sexual health and wellbeing service in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, providing clinical support for people’s sexual health, both face-to-face and online.

Yuno is a modern, accessible, and clinically trustworthy public health brand, with a strong focus on inclusivity and ease of access. A clean, friendly, and contemporary design style was developed to engage the audience, whilst a calm and reassuring tone helps to avoid stigma or sensationalism, normalising discussion around sexual health. The name itself was developed as a play on ‘you know’, positioning the brand as an empowering source of information that helps people to become more knowledgable about their own sexual health.
The approach to the brand was shaped by workshops with stakeholders and target audience focus groups. Illustrations were created to make the identity more human and intentionally approachable. The diverse characters (different body types, ethnicities, gender expressions, and disability representation) clearly signal that the service is for everyone.
A wide range of materials were created to carry the brand across digital and print-based platforms, giving the providing partner teams a high level of autonomy when developing assets for events, social media and in-clinic communications.

We're really pleased with the end result. It's a brand that's trusted, inclusive, and highly functional. It's really been shaped around the needs of the community that we're serving. ” — Sam Hepworth, Director of Communications and Digital, Brook
