We're delighted to have been chosen as Creative Partner for the forthcoming Lions on the Loose sculpture trail for St Clare Hospice, taking place in Harlow and Epping in 2026.
Having worked on the Herd In The City and Waddle-on-Sea projects with Havens Hospices, we jumped at the opportunity to support another fantastic cause and work with Wild In Art again.
We were invited to go and see St Clare Hospice and were completely blown away by the end-of-life care that they provide to the community in Harlow and Epping. This was another amazing organisation that we could not wait to work with and fundraise for. And when we heard that the St Clare team had opted for the lion sculpture, we knew it was going to be roarsome!
As Creative Partner, we’ll be supporting the trail on all things design and marketing, as well as sponsoring one of the fantastic lion sculptures. Our role includes creating the brand, website and marketing collateral for the trail, helping to spread the word and giving the St Clare team everything they need to attract sponsors and partners.

Our first task has been to come up with the name and branding for the Lions On The Loose trail. We wanted to create something that was fun and vibrant, packed full of personality and character that would catch the eye and imagination of the general public and business community alike. Stylistically, we were inspired by the work of American graphic designer and filmmaker, Saul Bass, creating quirky layouts and developing a impactful colour palette to give the trail identity a fresh and interesting feel.
Branding a large event requires a scalable and versatile solution, so we focused on creating a series of custom illustrations to dress all of the marketing materials. Working with the fabulous team at Pickle, we developed a range of visuals that address key information and subject topics for the trail, as well as creating a seriously cute asset library for the brand!

We've loved seeing this come to life, can't wait for the rest of the journey!” — Rosie Knowles, Deputy CEO at St Clare Hospice
The team have been busy putting together the sponsorship pack, learning programme and social media content in preparation for the trail, and we were delighted to attend the launch event and meet the current partners and sponsors. There’s been a fantastic response to the brand and trail so far and we’re looking forward to supporting the trail with all the marketing and design needs over the next 12 months and contributing to a great cause. It’s an honour to be a sponsor and support such a fantastic organisation. The difference they are making to people’s lives is truly humbling.
If you’re a business in the Harlow and Epping area, we’d urge you to get involved. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of something special. You can find out more about how you can support the trail at lionsontheloose.co.uk
