As part of London Fashion Week, Toni & Guy were looking for engaging design to bring their ‘Hair Meet Wardrobe’ press events to life. sixredsquares was given the task of creating a suite of branded props, bespoke artwork and marketing collateral to dress the event space and enhance the experience for visitors to the pop-up event. All design produced had to adhere to the Toni & Guy core brand and style.
The first part of the project involved creating menus and branded props for a press meal at Little House in Mayfair. The designs had to be distinctive and stylish, in keeping with the surroundings and effectively communicating the ‘Hair Meet Wardrobe’ theme. The dinner menu was designed in a shabby-chic style, with a die cut cover to resemble the doors of a wardrobe. A series of branded props, including newspapers, books and magazine covers were created to build the presence of the brand and provide the fine detail to the experience.
The second part of the event took place at Soho House, where the event planners were creating a pop-up beauty salon and dining experience for members of the international fashion press. The sixredsquares team was tasked with transforming the space and bringing through the Hair Meet Wardrobe brand. This was achieved through the creation of bespoke wall graphics and illustrations that dressed the space and gave it the appearance of a traditional walk-in wardrobe. The Toni & Guy brand had a subtle presence throughout and the shabby-chic theme was carried through all of the designs. Many of the outcomes were large format and the team was required to work closely with the printers and event planners, providing ideas and guidance for implementation throughout.
The result was a highly engaging event that effectively communicated the brand message and ensured the best possible experience for the visitors.
