As a locator and vendor of the highest quality vintage Swiss watches, Retromega owner Tom Dick wanted a brand and website that showcased the expertise of the company and the quality of its services and products.
The brief was to create a slick and stylish modern site that clearly communicated passion for the product. It had to educate the user, whilst generating orders. Targeted at experienced collectors, enthusiasts and beginners alike, the website had to cater for all levels, so usability was key to the development. A responsive build ensured that the site could be viewed effectively on mobile devices and wouldn’t be penalised in mobile search engine results. A content management system was integrated to the website, allowing the Retromega team to make updates to site content going forward.
The site is not just a selling tool, but also a platform for Tom and the Retromega team to share their expertise and insight with the target audience through blogs, linked articles, social media and tutorials.
Establishing the art direction for the photography was another key component in developing the right look and feel for the website and showcasing the products effectively.
